Introduction

Hi All!

My name is Jean Barnett, I am the Family Support Hub Coordinator at the Upper Ross Community Centre.

The organisation I work for is Community Gro Inc. I am truly grateful to work for such a caring and supportive organisation. We have staff and volunteers that are committed to providing programs and services that are based on the needs presented by the community.

Please click the link to check out our page, our page is a useful tool for us to share information with our community. We receive regular bread donations which we offer for free to the community, and we will always post on our page when we have bread available.
We have lots of different programs that we provide from our Upper Ross Community Centre, and our Garbutt Community Centre.

I am responsible for providing information, advice and referral to the community, so it is important for me to keep up to date with support that is available in Townsville.

I also run the Upper Ross Playgroup. This is held on Thursday mornings during school term and I am pleased to announce that we are BACK!! :) Hooray! We celebrated by having Amusements Plus Petting Zoo join us and we all had a great time.

I believe that is important to continue to nurture the relationships that we have established between the Hub and our beautiful families. I will keep you all updated with all of the new changes as they evolve.
